I bought my bottle more than five years ago when I was working as a script supervisor on a set with a hair/makeup person who used the potion as a way to tame flyaways on the actors' hair. I loved the scent; had no idea about its metaphysical properties.
I've since used this to slather on my skin during a cleansing ritual. I've used it to infuse into a sandalwood Japanese comb (you use sandpaper to grind away the varnish and then soak it in the oil for 3 weeks). I've soaked prayer mala bead bracelets in them. I still have the same bottle and I plan to use it on all my woodworking as a finishing oil. Beautiful product with a variety of uses to protect oneself from the harshness of the world, especially now.
